Hi all,
Not sure if this subject has been covered before!! If it has apologies. I am interested in the capa flash tune being advertised for $595 and wondered if anyone with an au1 forte etc like me has bought and installed one. If so, have they noticed much in the way of gains without doing a custom tune as well. I dont really want to pay an extra $200-300 for a tune so am wondering if it I should bother. I have paccie's (4480) & a 2.5 redback Thanks . |

No need for apologies, it never hurt anyone.
Id go it if I were you, and if your dissapointed with a generic tune, you can just spend a little more and get a custom tune. But I found great gains with the Generic anyway.

I agree, just do it. I used a generic tune in my XR6T and it was great. I eventually got a custom tune done by a guy called Dynowog, and that was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent!
I've ordered a Flash Tuner from RDP for my AUII XR8 and if the generic tune runs OK I'll leave it. But when I'm in QLD in february I will be getting it tweaked!
