Default Help with premium brake upgrade please!

Hi, I've got an AU2 XR8 sedan with standard brakes.
I've got hold of a set of premium brake calipers (grey stamped with the tickford wings) and a set of 329mm rotors from an AU2 XR6 VCT.
The problem is that when I went to trial fit them by fitting a few washers so that I could figure out how the thick the spacer was to the fit the caliper to the upright(aware that they need spacers due to the height of the rotor) the problem is is that the caliper sits too close to the centre of the rotor, almost as if the rotor needs to be about 325mm instead.
Is there something I'm missing, was the upright used on the standard car the same as on the T series/ XR AU2 premium brake cars?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Dave

They should bolt straight up. Might be worth a PM to b2tf - pretty sure he has the premium brakes, so he may be able to give you better advice/pics etc.

They should have come with the rite brackets when you bought them, when I got mine they came with brackets and braided lines and was a straight swap.

Cheers for the replies.
Sounds like I'm missing a bracket somewhere... I've got the calipers, lines, the caliper carriers and the 329mm rotors.
What did the bracket look like, is it just a spacer with 2 holes to take the carrier bolts onto the upright or is it a bit more complicated than that?
