Hi guys,
Ford laser 2000 lxi 1.6 Can anyone tell me if my car is OBDII compliant ? Just wanted to get one of those code scanners but Im not sure if its compatible. Isnt this suppose to be a requirements for 1996 onwards. BTW, I spent half an hour under the steering wheel looking for the dlc-2 connector and it doesnt seem to exist. The very strange thing too is there seemed to be no "Check Engine Light" on the dashboard. Mick |

Don't actually have any knowledge of said car but have you checked in the engine bay or possibly near the fuse box?
If it is OBD2 compliant then I would assume that it would have to be fairly accessible so you could connect a scan tool. |
