Default Plates

just ordered some personilised plates the other day (NFLANE) was just wondering how long othere people have taken to get them who orderd off vicroads as the reckon could be up to 10week and im inpaciant and weather i need to go into vicroads to get a new rego sticker or do they send them out with the plates and do u need to return the old plates or can i sell them ?

1) i've ordered 5 sets of personalised plates and the longest they've ever taken has been 7 days (including the weekend) but i'm melb metro
2) a sticker will be sent out to you once you ring up to assign the new plates when they arrive and you've put them on your car
3) vicroads advise you to return the old plates or destroy them yourself. it's up to you which of these things you do.

thanks for the info mate i would of thought they would want to re use my original plates but obversioly(spelling) not
