Default XR8 hard starting and ABS problems

Just wondering if any AU V8 owners experience hard starting? Happens around 5% of the time. Just cranks but eventually starts up. Similar to when you've run out of fuel and are starting it for the first time after refilling.

Also at slow speeds sometimes the ABS unit feels like its cutting in.

Any help before I start having a look appreciated.

Have a similar issue with my S2 on start sometimes. Asked about fuel pump and a bunch of other stuff. Was told it could be sorta Vapour lock ( So ford says) But since MSD coils, leads and plugs were put on issue hasnt reared its ugly mug. But now I also let car idle for a good 30 seconds before turning off to try and burn any excess fuel ( Not sure what a poor 30 secs would be : ) And that also seems to lose the demon.

Hope this helps
