Default EA died

Hey guys,

Was going for a brief cruise after cleaning the wheels (stock S-pack alloys are somewhat difficult to clean), and was briefly idling in traffic on the way back about 5pm, and the EA just died. It wouldn't start, so I got it off the road (a guy from the car behind pushed too), had a look under the hood with peak-hour traffic passing by, but couldn't see anything unusual.
I ended up calling my ol man and towing it back home- a 2.2i Tarago w/ 1/2 a ton of stuff in the back, towing a dead EA wagon. It was quieter than my ol man's Fairmont, but the steering was a bit heavy :P

Are there any known/common faults with the ignition, fuel pump, or anything that might cause a Falcon to just `stop'? It has new plugs and leads, is missing an idle motor, and has a (shhh) kill-switch, so I'm thinking the dodgy kill-switch wiring might have something to do with it...
