Thanks for a great evening. The movie was great and seeing it on the big screen was just the best.

I was stuck at two 21st last night so I couldn't go, but I seen the movie a few weeks ago and I have to say the film was bloody fantastic! Heath Ledger...its a real shame he's gone because he played such an awesome Joker. I loved the tongue flicker :P!!

I love IMAX

Got to love that BIG SCREEN, getting my mates hooked on it one by one as well, Thanks Brian and Red Robin for organising this again - to all the other OzEcruiser Members - sucks to be you as you missed out - again :

Great work by Swanny driving from the BUSH over 3 hours away to make the night even if he had to stay at my house last Sat night..............lol

Thanks to Jason for bring my Charger Boot Lid, sorry about scratch it made on your car :( Thanks to Helen for letting her picnic rug get dirty but bit dark on her for not let me "borrow" it.........lol

Great Movie - reccomend it to anyone, best bat man ever, my GF said its Ticket Sales are Heading to Number 1 Movie, better than that girly movie TiTanic ppppppppftttttttttt

I ended up at the MARQUE club afterwards, got home at 4am - was a great night all in all and next time I will have more than Salt And Vinegar Chips to eat all day - had a hot dog at 3.30am..............lol

One more thing DONT PLAY SWANNY in POOL as i lost 20 to NIL, although i have not played for 5 years it still hurts :evil3:

I especially loved the part when Batman extracted the chinese crook in Hong Kong and the side of the building gets blown out and sends that balloon up to connect with the plane flying over. And the semi-truck being pitch poled and the best bit of all was the Joker in the nurses uniform as he has to hit the detonator a couple of times before it went off.

Oh hey, Sorted, the parking meter works fine - you've just gotta remember to put money in it first. You keep getting free ones.

what is the point of this thread?

corect me if im wrong but im guessing this was started in the paying members section yeah?
if so, what is the point in putting in general section?
so people have to be a paying member to go on a cruise?

good way to have a "club"

Well at this point in time you have to be a member to view the events area but members are welcome to invite guests.
The events area should be opened up once regular cruises are running smoothly, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Dylan,
We have trod this path many times but I will do it again as you seem not to have taken it in as yet.
The events area is a club area and as such available to club members.
We, as a club, are posting our activities in the general section so other AFF members can see what we get up to as a club, they may decided our family oriented meets and events are to their liking. It also gives others a chance to see if they would like to come along and seeing who regularly attends and could be their sponsor for their first event.

Most official car clubs are run the same, yes even other clubs on this forum and not one of them have to continually explain why they are running their events the way they are.

If this is not to your liking then I might suggest that as you are not in a constituent vehicle now you might enjoy other clubs that are listed on these forums.

Yes there was a BF owned by a members family member. We also have associate membership for those who do not have a constituent vehicles.

ok well i understand that, but seems a tad childish/showy posting up in this section what the non paying member is missing out on?
what do people get for there $20 anyway? they get to go on meets and a sticker, yay!

maybe keep this sort of thread in members section as you will always have people(like me) making a fuss about it.

Why make a fuss about it Dylan? whats its going to achieve for you?

Explain Childesh? The only childesh behavier I can see here is your posts when at the end of the day if the club does everyone you ask your not going to be a part of it anyway?

Even thou i haven't posted on here, there plenty of us who didn't thought was wise that this club $20 per year so they could get to go on cruise and a sticker.

I joined up the Toyota club, they are more of a club and community. All they say to people who comes along is as long you are on the forum that all its matter to them.Even non paying members get to see what they talking about not just hide it like in here.

Sorry but i agree with Dylan on this one, no point in hiding an event like this then posting about it on here.

nah look i just think if your not going to tell the average member bout these cruises/meets why mention them after they have been on?
why not keep the whole cruise/meet section in one area and not spread it around

No point arguing if you cant commit $20 (100klms in a 6cyl EF - 2 dinners at Maccas - a Haircut - lower than anyones mobile bill for a month) then even if the club was free you wouldnt be a member.

Its just something to argue about for people who dont want to be a part of OzEcruisers anyway - thats the way i see it..................

if it was free then i would be a member, but im not paying $20 for a sticker and the privilege to go on a cruise when i can go on a cruise with other clubs for free.

I am sure Braden invited you like Tristan invited you to the ORSM Cruise, same rules apply but you went on their cruise and not ours? why is that? you didnt have to pay, you were allowed on a cruise - thats pretty simple i thought

PS I have already made my $20 back by going to IMAX club outings

Anyway i dont want this getting into a heated argument - you have made your point and now you have a BA so done and dusted

The main and really only reason feedback threads are posted here in the General section is so non members can see what the club is up to events wise and hopefully gather interest for potential new members.

For anyone that is interested in coming alone to an OzECruisers cruise you will find details in my signature when there's a cruise coming up. Simply send me a PM and ask for the full details and you are welcome to come along as a guest.
