Default parts prices

hey there fellas, and ladies!
looked everywhere online, and i am too lazy today to go out and look for one.

But i was just wondering if someone can tell me how much a series 2 high bonnet for an AU Falcon would cost either...

1: NEW
&
2: Not NEW (hehehe)

thanks Rob

I am replacing my low series for a high series one, but it is on insurance, but apparantly they are the same price as a low series bonnet.

Yep thats exactly what I meant. As for a price, round about 3-400 bucks, possibly less.

I think youll find a Genuine Ford bonnet is closer to $5-600, and thats unpainted, so allow about $2-300 for it to be painted (est).

I personally wouldnt use wrecked stuff on any of my cars. I dont want someone else's mistakes.

Try AWC, they may make them, or possibly have some of the ones lying round that they took off cars who have the bulge bonnet fitted.

Oh btw, be careful if you're shipping bonnets, genuine Ford ones do come in cardboard boxes but couriers etc chuck them round a bit and they may get dented on the edges etc - not a good look.

Yup, in that case try panelbeaters etc as they just may have one lying around, you never know although I dont like your chances lol.

Either go Ford for a new one, or wreckers. Some of the aftermarket ones lack the strength of the proper ford ones.
