I don't know if anyone is interested in these pics but what the heck. I got my old girl to get some pics of the (now fixed) pothole that I hit a week or so ago. I've also got pictures of the wheels themselves. The rims are still on the car as i haven't got 2 spares to get me back to ararat (3.5hrs) so i'm going to risk it. I am working my **** of at the moment to pay for repairs or replacement, i should find out which way i'm going on the weekend.
Oh, and I am still chasing up the council over the issue, but by the scratch marking around the grouping of pot-holes, the council knew about these and have yet to fix them, which means i have a chance at least of some financial help. Jared So yeah, here they are, sorry about the quality: Front wheel Rear wheel On-ramp On-ramp again

EDIT: Looking at the pictures, they don't do the damage justice, but those flat spots on the rim are actually around 15 to 20cm long...

i wouldnt drive 3.5hrs on them rims. they would be that out of balance that you will probably chew the tyre out. risking a blowout at 100kmh isnt my idea of happy driving at all.

damn jarred that sucks bigtime.
maybe a suggestion, but perhaps once the rims are fixed get yourself a set of stockies for normal driving / journeys and just use the ajr's for occasions...... thats the plan for me when i get my new rims..... |
