I received a letter recently from Ford Credit, stating that they are no longer going to accept new business in Australia.
All the existing accounts will stay intact until they are all paid up. Sad to see this happen, as I have 2 accounts with them and knew that I could at anytime buy a car using them. So what do Ford dealers do now? |

Same as they have always have been.......
Continue to play finance companies off for the best commission on each finance contact. Squeeze for the lowest and unsustainable wholesale finance rates (mmm where did GE go?) Who needs a branded and brand supporting finance company anyway.....??? .....oh that's right Ford and its Dealers. |
