Hey all, has anyone ever swapped BBM's/intake manifolds between series 1 and series 2-3 falcons? Or does anyone know of a 2 bar tmap to suit a series 1?
Reason for the first question is after looking at series 1 and 2/3 tmaps it apears they mount differently, could be wrong just going off pics, but in my manual it doesn't specify a differance in operation, input and outputs. If this is the case I can work something out using an xr6t tmap, otherwise I'm looking at an aftermarket ecu because of 1 ferking sensor. |

Dunno if this is an option, but I've got what is basically a bleed/bypass valve on the map sensor on my EL that basically bypasses boost from 2psi.
It's a bit of a ham-fisted solution, but it works ok in my application. |

I could be wrong here, but the EL's have a map sensor along the lines of the ones in the eb's? If thats the case would make what you have done easier, but not the simplest option for AU's onwards, will look into it anyway if no one else has a suggestion.
