Default P-Plate power laws and traveling interstate

Just posting in the other thread, I thought of a flaw in the P-Plate Car limits laws. Where I live, in NSW, the laws for what car I drive say that the engine must not be forced induction or V8 and up. However, in Vic, I beleive the law is flat out <125Kw/Tonne.
So my piont is, if your car is legal in Vic, (for example Territory Ghia Turbo@114Kw/Tonne) but illegal in NSW,(due to turbo) where your going on holiday etc, what can happen, what are the punishments.
If my logic is flawed, I apologise.
Cheers.

same as mod laws, if your car is rego in another state then they wont harrass you, if you move and prove you have extunating circumstances, ie will prove hardship to sell and re purchace a car due to *redicilous laws* then you may get it passed with special permit but consult the relivent authorities on this one.

P-Platers are not allowed to drive Forced induction or v8 vehicles in victoria other than certain turbo diesel models.

You abide by the laws that YOUR license is issued under.
