Here is a question from the 'dumb-4rse' section of the forum . . . Why doesn't the rain flood into the engine bay through the vents and scoops? :

Hahhaha.... I bet you the water does get into the engine bay. I knida figure that if the car is running, then there won't be enopugh water getting in to casue an issue it will also evaporate quickly. However if the car is just sitting there idle collecting water then that could be a different issue.

My theory is that anyone who spends this kind of money on their car probably don't take it out in the rain. Once I have that second car my Focus will certainlly spend more time in the garage and less time in the public car parks getting scratched and dented.

The handbrake is build into the caliper. It spring activates the pads locking them in place. You wouldn't lose the handbrake by changing the rotors only if you change the calipers.

Hopefully save enough cash to get coil overs. Once thats done a Quaife diff with Volvo S60r clutch upgrade are next, but they might take a while...

Wouldnt mind a few carbon fibre bits and pieces, like the engine, battery and fuse box covers. The alloy water tank would look cool too with some blue Samco water hoses.

Damn mod bug... bites hard!

So far this year I've got 16" wheels put on the XT. Booked in for service, handbrake repair, rego check and wheel alignment next Thursday. I hopefully will be putting on a single 2.5" Xforce catback. Got a spoiler put on the Futura in the last week of last year. 2011 will be a biggie, trading in for a manual XT/futura/xr6 hopefully, body kit, FPV wheels, twin 2.5" herrod, fpv steering wheel/pedals, tint, already saving and I should be able to get it done mid-end of next year.

and new wiper stalk with 6 speeds, fancy..

With ST170 Suspension all round, ST170 Snorkel, K&N air filter, 2.0 Auto Air deflector, MSD Ignition coils and high amp leads. (In red adds at least 5bhp!) Also Under pulley kit. Refreshed ST170 wheels now!
