From what I can gather, an attempt at a skid where the tyres weren't the loss of traction!

I wouldn't bother undoing bell housing bolts to remove.. Lol...
This is a sign of abuse !! I hope you don't want any warranty ??
Fit a twin plate and drive with some mechanical sympathy...
Are those two hoses fuel lines ???

I think once upon a time, yes. Standard dump, and exhaust, so wouldnt be making huge ponies. Someone had a burnout fail.
