If I was a current owner looking to upgrade, I'd be peeved - it's barely a facelift. But as someone that doesn't have to look at one every day, gorgeous.

The wagon isn't too shabby either. I think the R36 wagon just pips it on looks.

As time goes on, Mercedes are starting to look less retarded and actually desirable...if there was no GT-E, I'd possibly get one (if I could)...

It's a shame that I see so many Oriental women in nice Beamers and Mercs travelling at 20km/h in a 60 zone...they will never appreciate the car. It's merely a status symbol.

That is why the GT-E is my favourite Ford vehicle in the current range.

Id take that wagon any day of the week!

I like the current model as it looks so aggro. This facelift takes away (a little) from that, but still one heck of a good lookin car.

There is a rumour the new 5.5TT won't fit in the C63's and there's another rumour that AMG wants to use the new V8's in their more premium models (ie. E63, S63).

In any case, it's good to see the awesome 6.2L V8 live on for a few more years.

Though I think the current model is better, looks more aggressive...

Sorry, but that is not even close to the calibre of the AMG.

A cut and shut, parts bin dodge, with the most hideous eyesore of a floating elongated hearse body, on shuddering shaking unstable leaf rear springs (And I know the corvette runs leafies, but that's a bit different to a wagon), with a front grafted on that it was NEVER meant to have...

No.. I'll pass on that. Give me the AMG in orange thanks...

Yer well obviously it is not in the same league as a couple of hundred thousand $$$ easily shows that. I was mentioning it because he brought up that Ford have no current Falcon wagon of the same calibre. Yes a 6 Turbo or a V8 still wouldn't be close to the AMG but it is something that has been done to liven up the wagon

Interesting. I thought that one of the reasons for the TT V8 was new Euro emmissions compliance.

Is the N/A slated for the new SLK as well?

The latest I heard was AMG is going to shoehorn the 6.2 in the 2012 SLK...

And yes, I believe emissions was the main reason for the shift to forced induction.

Now that is a perfect picture. To all other car manufacturers out there - this is how you integrate DRL's.
