Righto,
So I've been on this and many other forums for some time now and one thing that keeps on coming up is people getting "then" and "than" mixed up, writing for example "I think this is better then that". WRONG!! The word "then" refers to something in time. For example: "I stubbed my toe THEN I fell over". The word "than" refers to a comparison. For example: "I like Fords better THAN Holdens". Yes I'm a pedant, too bad. You want to change the English language, go work for the dictionary! Or better yet - look it up every now and then! Thanks, I feel better now. |
