Default BA GT airpod into an ED xr6

Just wanted to know if without to much work if its possible to fit a BA GT airpod into either an ED xr6 or an EF Fairmont and if it would make much difference??

i was thinking about doing this for a while... would be a good intake setup i'm sure it could be done without too much trouble

Ive done it to my old car (EF2 ghia). The setup looked and sounded good but thats about it. I found the plastic the airbox was made out of had too much heat soak. I went back to the standard airbox with a pod in it. It performed much better
