Hi all,
Have the opportunity to purchase a complete celica 5 speed set up. I want to put it in my TC 2litre wagon but it came out of an escort 2 litre. What i need to know is is what are the things that will need changing fitting it to my TC compared to the escort. Bellhousing is ok, Shifter position? Tail shaft length? Mounting point? Any help would be good! Aaron |

The gearboxs between the Escort & Cortina 2 litres should be the same
The tailshaft will need to be changed as I am pretty sure the cortina is a differnent length to the Escort The Shifter should come thru the same opening depending on the bell housing conversion being used (all the ones I have seen do) the rear crossmember may be able to be used depending on how they made it for the escort |
