Default Focus RS in hot hatch shoot out

http://motorv8me.com/car-news-articl...-type-r-spirit

Given the Focus had the most power and torque and was the most expensive in the test, I expected it to post the fastest lap time, but it was beaten by a handful of hot hatches.

That Megane really surprised me. Average power and torque but fastest lap time. It must have a blinder of a chassis set up.

Big laugh was the type racing Civic coming dead last. Honda's glory days are long gone.

You could probably go to 5 different tracks and get 5 different results, certain cars will be quicker at certain tracks so 1 result isn't really an indication of a cars ability. I would proabably have anyone of those cars except the civic because frankly they're hideous. The RS would still be at the top of my list even with the pricetag.

That Golf R is sounding even better especially when its at about the 50k mark.

The WRX and Golf R are AWD.

The majority of the cars are FWD and the fastest car around the circuit was the FWD Megane RS.
