hey guys wondering whether a 250 crossflow aftermarket cam will fit a non crossflow 250?
asked a few old fellas round town with mixed answers haha so i thought id give the forum a try.. thanks, any help would be appreciated. |

Probably fit. But I doubt the profile would run in a pre-xflow motor.
Pretty sure Wade do some nifty profiles for the pre-xflow...regrinds so they're not too expensive either. |

aww ok thanks...
another think i heard was that the cams are exact except a part on the front? haha i wanna figure it out for sure before i pull it down a relise it wont fit and wait a few weeks to get one in haha... and also will it make a big performance diference? ive got stage 4 heatseeker outa a crossflow here. and my carbys orginal 2v one cept the jets have been drilled out ha and usual exaust, extractors, xf elec distributor, leads. |

no a crossflow and pre crossflow will not work. yes they will fit but the exhaust & intake lobes are in different orders.
