well finaly after a month :S a while ago my old motor blew a head and was time for a new engine, and decided instead of just gettin recoed or buy the same kinda motor, id go xr ;) bought john xrs NC sportman tickford XR6 motor off him, unforntnetly some water got in it, not like buckets loud but a little bit and turn the oil all milky :S as well a bit of surface rust on the cam and rollers (DAM U JOHN!!!)
after havin her out for a month i gave her a coat of heatresistant paint over the block, so looked like it got recoed (the perfect discise ;)) after stuffing around wit the timing we finaly got it all good again and chucked her in, had a few problems wit power steering pump, starter motor, spark plugs and the dizzy but eventunetly got her working and tuned fine as well got a WADE grind on the cam and alot more responsive, as well the 20kw for the xr motor. drove her around for 2hours under 2000revs :S to wear in the cam, after a while its started to get alot more responisive, and climed to 100 like a fully sic street machine finaly thow i have her done, and driveable, im glad now i can drive her in the cruise and GOR, ow and dont forget the 1/4 ;) , anywayz heres some pics give her a clean, next get exhust and extractors installed, later on, as well, thinkin of gettin the cover polished ;) nywayz tell me what yas think |
