Default happy days or not.

what is the most money you have made or lost buying or selling a car?i bought a 57 spilt windscreen kombi with semiphores at taroom qld,for $200 and sold it for 6 grand cash with in 6 months.believe it or not.

then i bought a xr6 for 17 grand,spent 2 on it,sold it for 10 grand 3 years later.;(

Sad to say Ive never made money selling a car. But my worst loss was an XR8 bought for 11k and sold for 6k. After spending 3k on it. Gotta love depreciation.

i paid $150 for a XB sedan with 2 months rego.
washed it, gave it some new plugs and points, rego when due and drove it for about 5 months and sold it for $1500.
