Default Would these BA XR8 Wheels be genuine?

Does anyone have an idea if these wheels would be genuine?? Link is below.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW...ht_2832wt_1139

Is there a massive difference between a replica wheel or a genuine wheels? do they look exactly the same? is the genuine wheels that much better?

Thanks.

The first pic is not a genuine wheel as the groove cut into the spoke is too big. The other two pics look genuine as the groove is smaller but couldn't say for sure. I'm pretty sure from owning a set of these myself that the genuine ones have a ford symbol stamped into the back of the wheel.

ask the seller if they are genuine?
i hear about a lot of non genuine wheels cracking across the spokes, and the lips of the rims cracking, and falling apart after hitting pot holes etc,
but havent heard of too many genuine ones failing

I had a genuine wheel crack, so if buying second hand you I think you need to inspect the wheels first.

I've had a few issues with aftermarket wheels (hard to balance well and wrong offset) I'd probably steer clear of them myself, the sellers feedback is a little bit off putting to me :( Personally I would hunt around the forums for a set of genuine rims, there's almost always someone selling a good set due to upgrading theirs My .02 cents worth ....

Correct! just checked my spare ones in the shed & on the back in the inside of one of the spokes is the ford logo moulded in! Best way to tell!

Will just keep looking around, thanks for the help everyone.

If they were genuine it would have surely been plastered all over the add?

Really good prices & quick service, decent bloke to have a chat too aswell. id recomend him.
