Hi guys, I need some help with the 6 CD Stacker in my EF Ghia.
When I push the eject button the cartridge does not budge. I hear a faint 'spring' sound and the button briefly lights up but thats it. The CD stacker head unit displays the message ERR 1. Does anyone know what this means? I've had ERR 2 many times before, and fixed that problem by moving the cd's in the cartridge around until the stacker is 'happy' again. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Rob. |

I had this problem once, and it turned out to be a cd stuck in the stacker. I had to open it up to retrieve it.

Just make sure you look where all the bits go. When you open it up take notice of where all the little bits are located
