It's probably a little optimistic but pretty close to the mark. Probably a bit of fat included in the price to allow for negotiators.

Man, it's a shame so few of those were built. (But I'm sure there are a lot more of them now than there were then.)

i would of thought most yanks would consider the car has 2 doors too many! car presents well but has some things which are not right visually which should really be corrected

Yeah my thoughts exactly..........nice try, but too many doors for most yanks to consider it a vintage muscle, pony or super car of that value Cheers Mick |

I doubt that the yanks would be all that interested in the GT-HO in general.
They never followed our racing, nor the 4 door Falcon... They don't seem to 'copycat' like we do for their rare breeds (ie: Yenko, AAR cuda, Shelby stangs etc) But, it sure would be unusual to see over there...

I have seen this car a couple of times and it is as good as any other that I have seen, the guy who owns it has not cut any corners in its restoration and the car used to be driven up until he lost his license, doesn't ride his bike either anymore as both of them get him in trouble. |

Having owned/driven the older GT's IMO the Phase II's were the pick of the bunch, fantastic stripes/badges/paint and with the 351C they became raw animals, heaps of straight line power but with handling and brakes that left a little to be desired, that combination made them awesome cars, and this one is a great example. Compared to the prices being paid for Phase III's this is a bargain.
I hope tonight's Lotto is good to me. |
