Hello, I have a 2003 BA Ford Falcon on dual fuel sedan. The other day my wife was driving the car on the South Eastern Freeway in SA travelling at 100kph.
All of a sudden the car lost power and ground to a halt. The RAA road service were called out and they were unable to locate the problem. the BA can be driven whilst on LPG but will not run on petrol but still is very rough in its performance. Do any members have any ideas on what the problem is? Could it be a mechanical or auto electrical problem? Regards Andrew Smith Mount Barker SA 14/9/13 |

A multitude of reasons but the obvious one to me is your fuel pump has failed. Would not explain the rough running on LPG though.

RAA will only know so much depending on mechanics ability, you will have to take car to mechanics workshop for a proper diagnose.
Could be any thing. |
