Used to absolutely LIVE on that site. Heck im even a donating member still (till it runs out).

But then I found this place, and now I only check up on ff.com every fornight or so :(

Bit of a shame in a way, cos there were really helpful people there when it was popular.. but most likely all those helpful aussie people are right here now

Really. Just look at the engine combo threads and see who is making the power. It sure isn't the wheezing Windsors. As for the Modular Motors, the amount of tech on these motors adds up to a massive 23 posts, many with no replies. There isn't even a Modular Motor engine combo thread.

Well I guess we should just close up the entire forums seeing we dont meet your high standards.

And frankly your moronic windsor bashing is getting tiring. go adjust your attitude and get some perspective. Alternatively, feel free to drag your sorry *** back to ff.com if you feel they are so superior.

in recent times the other site has become a bit american orientated - good on them i suppose, seeing as most of the aussie content now rests here. for this reason both sites will survive.

choice is a good thing!

as much as i dislike holden i dont want them out of business,
and as much as i dislike ff.com........... well you know

I was having a dig(Also known as a Joke to those with a sense of humour) at cleveland owners, of which many are good friends of mine, I'm running a boss engine with cleveland heads, so you pulled "cleveland bashing" straight from your shiney rectum.

You on the other hand have been bashing "wheezers" in other threads in simple minded unsupported comments.

Pull your head in.

I would like to point out that this comment was not an attack on this Forum. It was only intended to be a defence of the Cleveland in regards to the other more popular Ford v8's being the Windsor and the Modular motors. Don't get me wrong, I don't think any of these motors are crap. These families of motors all have their own strengths and weaknesses making each suitable for different applications. It is common knowledge that factory Windsors heads are small and relatively poor flowing, just as it is well known that Clevelands and Modular Motors are damn heavy.

I now realise that Sourbastard was having a joke. Now that I know that it was a joke I regret my post. I was puzzled why he would be bagging Clevelands when he had Cleveland style heads on his motor. I am however very disapointed that Sourbastard resorted to derogatory language so quickly. Frankly, I expect more from a moderator.

well, just quietly you have always been one to be a bit agressive in your stance of things... here as well as the other forums.
Sourbastard was well within his rights to post what he did. Should you or any other person have a problem with a moderator I would expect a PM in my or one of the other Admin's Inbox rather than trying them on for size in a public forum. There is nothing wrong with a focused discussion but there is a limit.

I'm going shut this thread. John's forum is going fine and I am sure that I speak for all the other admins in wishing him the best. We have gone our own ways and want to look to the future not the past.
