I love my new EcoLPI Ute, it goes great and gives good economy, my mission is to convince others to try one...
Bit off topic but my 2000km old EcoLpi sedan has rubbish economy. Fill the bloody thing every 3 - 4 days. My previous petrol sedan was every 5-6 and before that my petrol ute every 6-7 days. All FGs.

Lpi = 15L/100
Petrol = 10L/100

So 600km :

Lpi @80c = $72
Petrol @$1.50 = $90

Savings not that great IMO.

Your car has a fault with the lpg system.

I got better than that absolutely flogging it with a supercharger and lpg

Probably does and I wouldn't be surprised. LPG is rubbish, last one I will be owning.
That said, it wont matter anyway, 10yrs and there will be no more LPG.

A 6 litre ute? What possible payload did they think needed that sort of power?

Give me a diesel 4x4 Triton for the farm anyday over an overpowered drifting show pony.
not all of them are 6 litre show pony cars mate. there are still variants available in both ford and holden that can do a hard days work,and tray back falcons have a more useable tray than all of the dual cab utes on the market with a 1 tonne rating as well.
give me an aussie ute any day.

The guy I bought my pursuit from was upgrading to a ford ranger dual cab ute.. His situation changed so he needed a more family friendly car. From what I've been told is the Ranger will become the new ford ute.

RIP ute.
"Aussie Ute" ends in 2016 when the Ford factory closes.
Commodes were never more than pretenders.
