Default Selling my car in QLD

Hi all,

I am in the middle of selling my Territory here in QLD and have been approached by someone wanting to buy the car without a roadworthy or registration, is this possible?

The car only has about 1 month left of the current rego, how do I approach this?

Cheers

Go to the motor registry and cancel the rego and hand the plates in. You are then able to sell the car .Give them a receipt for the purchase of the car stating it is sold with no registration or road worthy or warranty. The car is sold with all defects if any. Sign and date it and get the buyer to sign it as well.

Yeah you can sell it unregistered. Just remove the plates and the sticker and take the plates in to QLD transport to deregister.

The buyer is obviously interstate?
