Will probably order a XR8 in manual as long as it's the 335 kW version with brembos with all the fruit, hope they have some new bright colours, pity you can't order a sunroof ,will have to get one fitted aftermarket. My other option was to fit a Super charger to my BA XR8 which I have had since new .

I hope so, but it will have to be some sort of finance deal because I can't see myself having a spare $35,000 or so by October, 2016.

Looking to purchase a G6ET as soon as they become available. By then, my current G6ET won't be that far short of being seven years old. I never thought I'd have it for that long when I first took delivery of it way back in late June'08.

XR6T ute, wanted an XR8 ute but not going to make one...grrrr
Ford say they couldn't justify V8 ute, why not. Take the blinkers off and have a look at the number of SS Holden utes running around !

Name down at a dealer. Red XR8, manual with leather and tech pack. Price pending. As soon as I saw this had to get one to sit next to the EB.

This way I will have the first and the last XR8.

The lease on the St is up for renewal around July next year.

I know some (ok, a lot!) won't get this dilemma, but at this stage I am tossing up between the MY15 ST or an auto XR8

I am concerned about the availability of the auto XR8 by the time I get around to organising a replacement for the current car, so this will probably be the biggest influencing factor in my decision.

The wife does not overly like the ST, but she has very fond memories of the BA XR8 I had, and would like to see a V8 back in the garage. Mind you, the ST has been a great car to own...

I had every intention of getting one and said so many times, but circumstances change and I have to rationalise the vehicle fleet. No XR8 for me.

Still want one but.

I'm in the same boat.
I ordered my FG as soon as they went on sale. She was built in May08 and delivered in June08, so was one of the first built. Has been an absolutely beautiful car to own and drive and still love driving it so much. I don't think I can actually part with it, she was my first brand new car, I worked HARD to buy it, was built to order in my specs and I don't think I could sell it off and see MY car being trashed by another owner.

So the garage will have to accommodate a XR6 and XR8. No I'm not made of money, but I always say in defence to my love of cars, I don't drink and I don't smoke or gamble so I spend my money on cars that will make me happy........So HURRY UP FORD AND BUILD MY XR8
