Default bolt in alloy cages?

just curious if a bolt in alloy cage is recognised still as a suitable roll cage?

I know in my old rally car they don't allow alloy cages unless it already had a log book, just curious if its the same now for drag/track cars???

I'm looking at a second hand bolt in 7pt alloy cage.

CAMS won't allow Alloy cages unless the car is grandfathered (Ie, has a logbook predating the banning of alloy cages)
As for Drag, I have NFI.

Yeah I think alloy cages are mostly for looks, but if ANDRA recognise it then its a cheap solution and its much lighter than a chro-mo cage, and cheaper too.
