Default Bought an XD today!

Hey guys i was up at broadford on the weekend and found me an XD 5L. So i bought it. Is there any chance this engine may fit into my e-series? I have always loved the XD (wierd i know!!) but hey always wanted an XD 5L!! But would love a 5L EB more!!

DUDE! Do up the xd, XF panels, ghia interior, on its guts with chrome 12 slotters and fat wheels on the back...ohhh yeahhhhh!

yeah theres 1 getting around town here I seen a few times, its a white one, it looks freaking tough, got nothing to prove expecially when they put the boot in to it

I dont understand why people put XF fronts on, it really doesn't look any better than the XD.

XE is the better of the lot IMO. Alot tougher!

I wouldnt even bother thinking about doing the swap..alot cheaper to find a EB 5.0l.

do up the xd, so much better then the xf just dump it on its guts and some nice rims, dont know if they make the clear indicators for them but if so chuck those on and a nice sounding exhaust you got your self a nice cruiser and burnout machine.

u can get clear front indicator's for xe and clear rear one's for xf-xe

but yer dont wurry bout puting that old rattler of a donk in ur eb man

Yeah was thinking about just keeping it ill swap my BA XR's onto it should look sweet will i be able to still cruise with you guys if i bring the XD on a cruise!! Im an e series at heart!!

im looking at getting some new mags and tires so my 12sloters may be up for sale with rubber 235's rear tires are ИИИИed though ans the car is very happey spinning them but there tuff rims thay will take anything

The XD was the last good looking model of the 'X' series, IMHO. The front end had nice clean lines, it wasn't distorted by the gradual bonnet wrap-overs that we have now. A straight XD, with all the fine detail attended to, will look fantastic!
