Default Dunlops vs Kumhos?

After finding tennisball sized bulge in the sidewall of one of my front Dunlop 9000s. my tyre guy has suggested that rather than buy a new one at about $480 a pop I should put on a set of Kumho KU31 at about $260 each.
Has anyone tried these??

Best to ask Turbo_Nick in the Tyre Tech forum .... he's the guy to speak to.
Although many people have they opinion of tyres .... just like the Polish thread.
Hankook Ventus K104s are meant to be good too ... and Nankang NS-2s.

But it comes down to what you want to pay ... and what sort of performance you want from your tyre as well.
