Hi Guys, I recently purchased this little interior addon;
(Looks much darker then in the pic) The question is they (emtech) also make CF inserts for your dash to go along that spear that runs along near the top of the passanger side air bag. There is also a large section for the center console as well in carbon fibre as can be seen here. The thing is im planning to get the spear thing but not sure if the center console section will be overkill and look crap? What other interior parts can be done in CF? Iv thought of the mask around the cluster (the black section) might look ok done in CF as well but not sure if that would look bad either. Anything else you guys can think of that can be done in CF?

I guess the spear part you speak of would not be too expensive, see how it looks. I think it would look good. But hopefully you don't have to destroy the original one, just in case you don't like it.

Modicoat rocks. I didn't do the centre console part because I reckon that's way oveboard, but I did door handles, the passenger airbag strip and my cluster maks in modicoat and they did a fantastic job. Mine were a custom pattern, not CF.

Do you think emtech would be doing the coating themselves or outsourcing it to modicoat? Just want to know cause if they do I can jump the middle man

I would hazard a guess that they outsource to a mob like Modicoat.
Email Modicoat and get a quote. If you want CF, they have a few different patterns so you have a larger range of options. As as you suggested, no middle man mark-ups!
