Car has been deregistered in WA, and it's on an unregistered vehicle pass atm. Booked in at Vicroads to get Vic reg monday week. No timeframe. The WA plates will be handed in at time of registration.

No transfer papers. It's pointless doing it cause it requires a Victorian RWC. Just has to be re-registered in Victoria with a valid RWC.

Not sure if it applies to interstate cars but the WA DOT gives out fines for not handing back plates after 28 days of the car being unregistered. Just a heads up as I got stung a hundred bucks for it a while back.

Oops, yep.

They get upset over here if you don't hand the plates back.
