I don't no bout that!! ive heard of hydrogen fuel cells that emit water vapour but nothing like that i wonder what the power would be like?? cause ive heard with hydrogen that u sacrifice a huge amount of power!!

Yeah. these thing have been around for years, bloke in far nth NSW.Reconds he has been running around for years with a car using water to hydrogen on demand.Just fills up with H2O(negates the need to store H).Who knows could be true?.

If it were true then either:
a) the developers would make Bill Gates look like a dole bludger. b) the developers would be assassinated many times by petrol company ninjas c) all of the above The first sign that there actually is a replacement for petrol will be the total withdrawl of US tropps from the middle east...... USA already has enough sand and camels. |

Burning Hydrogen really is a completely different issue compared with where or how you get your hydrogen.
This story like many others confuses the two issues. The technology that is needed how to make cheap hydrogen, not how well it burns. It takes energy to make hydrogen. |

lets all remember than 2H2O ==> 2H2 + O2 = Endothermic reaction.
2H2 + O2 ==> 2H20 = exothermic reaction Pitty our engines or conversion processes arent 100% efficent. This form of travel is pointless, and impossable to sustain.

The US navy ran some trials in the 1920's (or around there) with a guy stating that he could run an engine on water with a special additive. An engine and water were supplied and this bloke added his "special ingredients" into the water.
The engine was found to develop less than quoted power but before any other details coud be found the gent disppeared. From time to time this always raises it's head but never in enough detail for full scientific appraisals to be performed. ie what are the exact chemical reactions being performed and WHY. (see COLD Fusion for more details) |

The only way you can get energy out of water is in fusion, (turning matter into energy) but this had never been sustainable in any form on earth by anyone. It happens every day, on the sun.
Running on hydrogen gas is also diffrent. It takes alot of energy to get hydrogen from water. Also in th 1930's they ran trains on water that weighed over 300 tons and had a top speed of over 200 kmph! They heated the water and turned it into steam. The stanley steam engine cars were faster than any other transport in the world until the 1920's. in ~1908 a steam car achived over 200 kmph on daytona beach in the usa with consecutive runs. |
