Default Help with performance upgrades

hi all.

ive got a 93' fairlane with a 5.0L. its got extractors and a 2.5 inch exhaust all the way through.. i was thinking of putting a mild cam in it and a unichip... im looking for as much power as possible... any suggestions would be great and im looking to spend as little as possible... and do you think the cam and unichip is good or a whole new computer???

Check the tech pages, but otherwise do the heads and manifold first, BMM is bringing out a flash tuner soon as well

As low LTD said, check the tech section or the 5.0 windsor section. My reccomendation is to go straight for forced induction - get twin 2.5" exhausts and a blower - its a lot of money up front but you get more power and better economy than if you were going to go stroker/heads/cam etc...IMHO...
