Saturday 2nd September
2pm - informal get together to detail cars for show and shine tomorrow.
6pm - RAID welcome dinner - detailed itinerarys and raid welcome packs will be distributed at this dinner.

Sunday 3rd September
8am - 6pm Betta Electrical 500 @ sandown raceway - including club display area and show and shine competition for RAID cars only. (non-RAID AFF members will be joining us for this event).
Evening- Pool night

Monday 4th September
Free day -

Tuesday 5th September
Free day – Optional car photo session if enough people are interested.

Wednesday 6th September
10am - Ford Geelong factory tour
11.30am - Ford Discovery Centre with mystery guest speaker
1pm - lunch at Ford Discovery Centre (included in entry fee)
afternoon - navigation rally/scavenger hunt rally
Evening - mystery social event

Thursday 7th September
10am - FPV and FPR factory tours
12pm - lunch
1pm - Ford Broadmeadows factory tour
3pm - presentation by Ford execs (I hope,still to be arranged)
7pm - Dinner and trivia night (non-RAID AFF members will be joining us for this event)

Friday 8th September – Mad Max day
11am – 3pm cruise to visit the scenes of Mad Max around melbourne
(including a screening of mad max)


Saturday 9th September
9am - Meet up at Ford Broadmeadows HQ
11am - 4pm AFF Drag Nationals
7pm – Farewell Dinner (included in entry fee)

Accomodation

Below are the recommended addomodation options. Please note that there are selected mainly for their location and proximity to the events, you are free to stay elsewhere if you like but will have to make allowances for extra travel time if you are staying further away.

Optional Photography Day

On Tuesday 5/9 we will be having an optional photo shoot for those that are interested. There will be a car washing session, followed by a couple of outdoors location shoots where we will try and produce some quality photos of your pride and joy. There is also the option of hiring a studio with a lighting rig and controlled white background, but at a cost of about $500 for a half day, we would need a few people to commit to this to cover the costs.
Anyone who wants to be included in the photography day can contact Mrs Xa Coupe and indicate their interest as well as whether you want to be part of the studio hire.
