Guys,
I'm considering purchasing a rebel rear bar for the AU but am worried about the fact that you can only get fibreglass products. What is everybodies thoughts on fibreglass as bumper bars. I need to put my mind at ease. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks |

May I suggest you do a search, there have been countless debates on your request.
Some say fibre some prefer plastic oe standard, ends in a bung fight....

Depends who its done by, who preps it and who paints it.
Theres alot of variables but at the end of the day the Polyurethane is the best on all counts other then cost! I still think the Fibreglass stuff we see from AWC seems to be pretty good, or atleast theres no complaints on here about quality so that says something (considering the amount who buy from them). Prep is the important part and so is paint! If its not preped and smoothed out then its going to look , if its not painted properly then its going to chip easily making the product look inferior rather then the paint job.

Thanks for some comments. I know it is a question for much debate but I have wanted one of these for years and I really want one now. LSTerritoryGhia, geeze you get around. I believe you and my brother chat quite alot. Twinpiston is my bro and he's still waiting on his TT Ghia. Anyhow, thanks.
