Depends where I am, highway stereo but usually the engine note wins out around town.

Depends, alot of the time I like listening to the grunt, especially in the pursuit. Other times I'll listen to some music.

i had a big loud stereo but got over that after i got my Ps realised when i started driving the car it was a **** stupid and brought the wrong attention. stereo is decent quality now but not fully sick.
Engine noises impresse me ! Ill turn around for a solid cammed clevo but not a sick civic with 15 subs

At the moment i choose my stereo. My exhaust sounds like a taxi crosed with a banshee currenty (untill next week when i get the 3" on).
I spent around $3,000 on the stereo so i like to use it (plus i love music) but when i get my exhaust it will probably change hehe.

good topic!
In my AU i have a big stereo.. but it only seems to play techno as of late ( little bro drives it now.). In my BA, even though its got premium sound i NEVER listen to the radio or play CD's in it since i love the sound of my big V8 rumbling and screaming when i give it a boot full.. nothing compares! |

thats true nobody likes a person in a car park trying to break windows with the sterio. its a different case if you use the exhaust lol.

I usually listen to the exhaust. (Yeah I know RB30s arent the greatest sounding engine, but meh)
I have a big sterio, but I don't listen to it. I'm not really into sterios and stuff now, like when I was younger. |

When you've got stock sound system (real lack of power) and an Ecotec V6, the choice is easy.
Silence! I'll bide my time and go for an 8 in the future once I can afford one. |

At the moment i like music because it sounds alot better the rattling catalytic converters but under different circumstances where the exhaust sounded good i would turn my music right down and listen to that but a supercharger would probably make me turn the stereo off all together.

Exhaust and gear drive is music to my ears, I have a stereo but have only turned it on to make sure it works, maybe if your parked a stereo would be okay.
