Hi to all,
I have a leak at the commection of the outlet hose on my au2 power steering pump. The mechanic has told me that the whole pump and high pressure hose needs to be replaced at the same time as the hose cant be seperated from the pump. I would have thought a new seal would fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Rooster |

some advice on the mechanic you took it to, next time you go there tell him to bend over, then insert your foot firmly up his anal passage. if the hose couldn't be removed they wouldn't sell rebuild kits for the pumps, i6 pumps are the same from ea to au anyway, and trust me they can be rebuilt, and the hose does come out

Thanks going to attempt it myself have been quoted 297 from ford for the upgraded hose with a better seal, or I can go a repco for 140. what would be the recommendation.
Thanks Rooster |

as mentioned above, give enzed a try, ive read that some people just got the actual hose repaired, instead of replacing the whole thing....but if you don't want to go that way, they may be able to make you a new one, try them for a price before yo go out an buy one
