I looked into stuffing a Ford 8 into a 240Z many years ago,,,,,I was happily informed a Windsor would fit straight in, but a Clevo was a problem and would require cutting etc to fit....so yeah it'd fit, but not a easy job.

Oops sorry to clarify a stroked 302 Windsor to be exact....

My favourite V8 into small car has to be this:
http://www.aussiev8.com.au/conversio...t-feeling.html

Such a tough car!

some other nice ones:

I have seen the rolla thats in the last vid in person, it sounds scary!

If I was to drop a V8 into a 'granny car', I would choose a Mazda Capella wagon.. I have alwayse wanted to build one of these.

The biggest hurdle you will have is getting any small or other wise car with a Clevo in it Engineered. Good luck

Yes,
BJ's right, have a good look into it,because with the weight/capacity limits we have now it's real hard to get anything like this passed..
Even a capri is frowned upon in nsw..

On the clevo in a 240z,I test drove one in the late 80's or early 90's from a car dealer on parramatta Rd,was a clevo/toploader/9" combo, went like poo off a shovel,it's a great combo if you can swing it and get it all legal..

I almost fainted with shock but as I headed in for closer inspection I noticed out of my line of sight was a Leyland P76.
A bloke I know put a 318 in a KE-30 Corolla, took a fair bit of fitting, but was an awesome burnout machine!
