I want to put a towbar on the wifes ELxr6 to tow the boat but don't know about towing with superlows. how do others with s/lows get on towing

Friend tows with his EB xr8 riding on superlows.
He carts an escort on a small tandem car trailer about victoria no worries. As long as the balance of the vehicle on the trailer or whatever you are carrying is correct your car can be low as you like.
