Following on from my previous thread HERE , I changed the clutch cable and gearbox oil but I still had to adjust the cable quite a fair way to have the pedal feel right and working. Here is a pic its 60mm from the firewall to the end of the thread, before I adjusted the old cable the very first time it was sitting on 45mm. Just seems a little too much?, as now the pedal sits out way past the 140mm inside the car. What could be possible problems and what may need replacing fixing?? Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks Luke

i havent been near a manual falcon in years..... but i was taught the clutch pedal should have about an inch of play and should start to cut in about one third the way down of the pedal stroke, if it cuts in at the top of the pedal stroke it may be adjusted to much(to tight) ,if it starts to cut immediatley when you depress the clutch i believe you are in danger of having clutch slip because the clutch could be slightly already engaged because the cable is too tight, it sounds to me kenz like you might be able to back the adjustment off a tad and try again mate, hope that is some help.
