Hey guys,
I'm looking at getting two things done to my car, and i'm just wondering what everyone thinks are general prices for them. 1. All new sports shocks 2. All new brake pads I've been quoted around $1000 including labor, wheel alignment and anything else. Sound right? Thanks luke.

It depends on the shocks and pads that you are getting... There is a big price difference between Konis and Monroe shocks for example.
That said, for $1000 they would want to be good shocks and pads. Either that or labour costs have gotten higher recently...

That is a bloody rort that is. Without labour and trade price parts i can get that done for $200 tops. Thats how much it costed me for monroe gas shocks and transgold full cermamic brake pads. So with labour and general retail for parts including the wheel alignment i wouldn't pay more than $600 |

Before making a comment.........
1. What Brand of Sport Shocks? 2. What Brand of Brake Pads? I presume by shocks you mean only the shocks, no lowered springs or camber kit Also I presume by brake pads you mean only brake pads, no reco calipers, no new rotors, prob includes maching the rotors?
