does anyone know if the ecu,s are different from a forte to an xr6hp i know the vctxr6 ecu is different..but what about base engine to hp engine...

All the same ECU.... but the program in them is different. XR's have a different tune and different transmission programs to start with. I'm sure theres more differences in the program than that though.
