No forward facing light on a passenger car is to be blue or red....Thats why cops pull people over for it.

I've got some rice blueish/purple parkers. have had them in for over a year without any police trouble. I bought them from rice'o'barn. I think they look cool but they are a bit tossy. I carry some proper ones so if I get pulled over I'll say I can swap them straight away and discard the blue ones.

You can get coloured caps to slid over the parker. I found a little shop in lakemba sydney that did sell them, they just slid over the parker bulb, had a few colours to choose from.
I had them for around 2 years, and were still fine when i sold the car that they were on. Should be able to find some slip over colours somwehre on the net.Otherwise i have phillips bulbs that are BLUE but ur looking around $100 for them as they come with h4's as well. |

To all the people saying they look awesome, why do you think they look awesome?
Just curious, as every one else is laughing...

they look awesome the same way playing your subs so loud that your number plate rattles is awesome.
they attract attention and the people in the car mistake pity for admiration |

Narva Artic Blue 5W t-10 wedge globes for the parkers with the Narva blue silicone sleeve over them will give you blue light. Otherwise T10 led globe in blue.

the sleeves look like crap plus if you leave them one for to long (couple of months) the cap melts onto the parker. And yes it has happened to me so dont anyone try to convince me they cant. And we use Blue parkers because we bloody well feel like and to you clowns who think they're "sad" or "immature" or whatever you old farts are trippin on these days, well just sod off out of this thread!

Rofl This old fart has modified more cars that you have had pimples, enjoy the defect, and as I drive towards or aways from these feel good mods, I always amuse myself by muttering a few choice words mixed in with Tossa. Infact I've got that feeling now! :togo:

You for real man, why the hell would you want blue parkers?!?!! Leave it to the moronic VN-VP/ ricer "P" plater crowd dude. Cops hate em, along with those fully sick wiper jet neons, thank god the BA/F jets are built into the scuttle and not visible. |

im going to add more fuel to the fire, below is a copy of the australian vehicle standards for parking lights.
before you flame me, i have yellow parkers in my xr8, my next door neighbour is a hwp officer and i havn't had any problems at all. with a modded v8 i think there's other things they can defect. : Division 3 Parking lights 84 Parking lights (1) A motor vehicle built after June 1953 must be fitted with: (a) a pair of parking lights if it is a motor trike with 2 front wheels (except a moped) or a motor vehicle with 4 or more wheels; or (b) at least 1 parking light if it is a motor bike with an attached sidecar, or a motor trike with 1 front wheel, (except a moped). (2) A pair of parking lights fitted to a motor vehicle with 4 or more wheels must be fitted with the centre of each light: (a) at least 600 millimetres from the centre of the other light; and (b) not over 510 millimetres from the nearer side of the vehicle. (3) However, a pair of parking lights fitted to a motor vehicle under 1300 millimetres wide may be fitted with the centre of each light not under 400 millimetres from the centre of the other light. (4) A parking light fitted to a motor trike with 2 front wheels must not be over 400 millimetres from the nearer side of the vehicle. (5) A parking light fitted to a motor bike with a sidecar must be fitted not over 150 millimetres from the side of the sidecar furthest from the motor bike. Location of parking lights on a vehicle (6) When on, a parking light must: (a) show a white or yellow light visible 200 metres from the front of the vehicle; and (b) not use over 7 watts power. (7) A parking light fitted to a motor vehicle built after 1969 must be wired so the parking light is on when a headlight on the vehicle is on. (8) A parking light fitted to a sidecar attached to a motor bike must be wired to operate when a headlight, tail light or parking light on the motor bike is on. (9) For subrule (3), the width of a vehicle is measured disregarding any anti-skid device mounted on wheels, central tyre inflation systems, lights, mirrors, reflectors, signalling devices and tyre pressure gauges.
