Anyone snapped personal pics of the following, that I could use on Street Commodores DVD?
If they aren't copyrighted Email to SMOKEDV8@hotmail.com along with full name and I will credit you at the end of the DVD. Shots of Clear Barbagello Raceway Claremont Speedway (WA) Dick Johnson Helmet on or Helmet off Jeremy. |

I'm curious as to why you need those images of a Ford driver who has been retired for 8 years, for a commodore DVD.

To be fair, he did race Holdens in the past, just not Commodores.
I'm curious as well. |

if the people working on your "sister" mag are worth their salt at all, they'll easily enough be able to get you a press pic which you can probably use for the artwork.
+1 to the curious as to why list though

Press pics take a long time to get approved.
It doesn't matter now any way. Segment canned. Down the toilet. |

That was for the Adelaide Grand prix celeb race early on in the piece iirc.
DJ also raced Toranas & made his racing debut in an FJ iirc. Didn't always race in the famous #17 either.... |

It was in regards to the "Race of Champions" Celebrity race which was a support category for the 1980 Australian Grand Prix at Calder. Unique Cars did a write up on it a few months ago, apparently there were pretty much stock HDT road cars with a few add ons (half roll cage, etc). |

One of our club members owns a full race replica of a Dick Johnson commodore, he also owns the very same Ford Galaxy that the beetles jumped in when they arrived in Australia for their tour. But he brought the DJ commodore to one of our club runs......we put him at the back.....but was always welcome
