hey guys, im new to the au scene, and just have a quick few questions
how hard is it to replace the CD deck? my CD player keeps stuffing up, so i wanna replace it. i own a AU III forte now, after owning a 230 rwkw xr6t, its a bit of a step down, but anyway, is it hard to do yourself, and does it look tidy? any other tips i can to to spruce the car up a little? currently its stock as a rock. i'd get pics up, but haven't taken any yet. thanks ben

Hi Ben,
Welcome to the AU side of things. Im fairly new also. The consensus here is usually: Externally - lower, tint, wheels, bodykit even Driveline - full exhaust, edit, CAI, cam From what I have heard, HU is fairly straight forward, but if your going a single DIN unit from a double, get the pocket as mentioned to fill the gap. The fitment will look very neat. Also if you havent already, check out www.aufalcon.com and register your ride, check out the articles and other peoples rides.

Welcome 2 the Au side of life!
Well, I have gone through 3 different head units in a period of 2 years. Its very easy to do! (And even easier if do the whole sounds system at once!) but to get it looking 100%, Its a irritation. |
