Default Buldge.

So with the tax return coming soon, Im pretty well sold on a buldge bonnet. The only problem is Ive got no idea where to get one - seen the usual ones on Ebay, wont buy from Fibresports (even if I wanted to it seems theyve vanished) and all the rest are stupid prices. So where do you guys get them from?

And one other thing - which is better, glass buldge on steel bonnet, or full glass bonnet? I have heard of the grafted types cracking over time - dont want this to happen.

I've heard mixed reports about fibreglass bits, but if they have been fitted well, most people are happy with the results.

Seeing as awc is no longer? Well at least the webpage, i dunno if this is still going ahead

Just a question but why wouldn't you buy from fibresport.

I just used the old fashioned telephone and gave them a credit card number and it was on my doorstep within 2 days. I do it all that way these days because I have found there are heaps of them that cant keep up with their emails. Anyway quality and fit was good according to the painter. He has fitted a few different ones.

Just make sure you ask for a bulge, or else you might end up with a buldge. You wouldn't want that.

I fitted a buldge to my XR6 ute. A lot of filling and sanding involved- i vowed next time to have it fitted by a pro. Make sure you use Vinyl Ester or Epoxy Resin to attach it.
